WHO WE SERVE
The moment when wealth management has to become something different.
Our clients have typically spent years focused on building — a company, a career, a family's financial foundation. The transition to managing and stewarding that wealth requires a different mindset, a different set of tools, and a different kind of firm.
A narrow focus.
A deliberate choice.

We generally work with individuals and families with $20 million or more in investable assets — or concentrated wealth (business, equity, real estate) on a clear path there — and genuinely complex wealth structures. Below that threshold, the full scope of what we provide is rarely warranted. Above it, the cost of fragmented oversight compounds quickly — often in ways that aren't visible until they already have.
Our clients reflect three distinct wealth profiles. Each arrives with different priorities and different time horizons — but all share a need for integrated oversight and a principal-level relationship with people who are accountable for the full picture.

The Entrepreneur
They spent a decade focused on survival and growth. Personal finances were a background concern — necessary but deferred. A liquidity event changes that. Suddenly the wealth is real, concentrated, taxable, and complex — and the decision-making framework that built the company is not the one that stewards capital across a generation.
We help entrepreneurs make that transition deliberately, not reactively.

The Vesting Executive
Senior executives accumulate wealth in layers — stock options, RSUs, deferred compensation, NQSO plans — each with its own timeline, tax treatment, and risk profile. No single decision can be made without understanding its effect on all the others.
Managing this structure requires ongoing, coordinated attention. Not an annual review.

The Multi-Generational Family
At the generational level, wealth management is governance work as much as investment work. Decisions about how wealth is held, transferred, and communicated across a family require a structure that persists through changes in advisors, tax laws, and the family itself. We provide that continuity — including direct engagement with the next generation as they move toward stewardship.
In many families, members of the next generation may also eventually seek a more independent advisory relationship while still benefiting from continuity across broader family structures and legacy planning. CoastEdge was built to operate within that complexity — balancing independence, coordination, and long-term family continuity simultaneously.

We're not for everyone.
That's intentional.
Clients who prefer a self-directed approach, who measure success primarily by absolute returns without context or risk consideration will be better served elsewhere. We'll tell them that directly.
CoastEdge is built for clients who are intellectually curious and who value a genuine partner — one who will tell them when a strategy doesn't make sense for their situation, push back on decisions driven by fear or momentum, and be available when something needs attention.
That relationship requires a level of trust and experience that takes time to build. We're selective about where we invest that time.

If your situation is complex, we'd like to understand it.
The best way to determine fit is a direct conversation. We'll tell you honestly whether CoastEdge is the right structure for what you're navigating — and if it isn't, we'll say so.
