Trevor Huffman

Trevor Huffman is a Fund Accountant in the Accounting department at CoastEdge Partners, where he ensures the numbers investors and portfolio managers rely on are accurate, timely, and well controlled.

Day to day, he manages fund accounting for CoastEdge's private investment vehicles, including daily cash reconciliation across fund entities and bank accounts, capital activity, quarterly NAV and management fee review, and coordination with fund administrators. He also works on the annual audit of the funds.

He was drawn to CoastEdge by the chance to continue working in the private sector while being part of a small team with plenty of opportunities to grow.

Before joining CoastEdge, he was a Finance Associate at Evolution Credit Partners in Boston, Massachusetts, where he oversaw fund operations for private credit vehicles, from capital calls and distributions to financial statements and investor reporting. Earlier, at Ultimus LeverPoint, he provided fund accounting for private equity and hedge fund clients, handling general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and audit coordination. With six years of experience in private credit and private equity fund accounting, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Belmont Abbey College.

Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through golf and surfing, and spends time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes and cuisines.
