Peter Dawoud

Peter supports both the Client Service and Portfolio Analytics & Reporting teams at CoastEdge. He assists with clients’ direct needs through new account openings, subscription documents, and ongoing service requests, while also supporting portfolio performance reporting and the day-to-day maintenance of client investment data in Addepar.

On a day-to-day basis, Peter supports CoastEdge’s Client Operations and Portfolio Analytics & Reporting functions. His responsibilities span client account administration and transactions, investment operations, and portfolio data and reporting. Through this work, Peter helps ensure client accounts and investment information are maintained accurately and efficiently, supporting a seamless experience for both clients and the broader CoastEdge team.

Peter has always had a strong interest in finance, having previously worked in private equity as well as at leading financial institutions including Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase. He was drawn to CoastEdge Partners by the opportunity to join an RIA that takes a differentiated approach to wealth management. CoastEdge’s combination of traditional wealth management and access to private investment opportunities offered a unique fit for Peter’s interests and experience.

Before CoastEdge, Peter worked at StepStone Group as a Client Service Analyst within the firm’s Real Estate division, supporting institutional clients and gaining exposure to private markets. He previously worked at Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase in client-facing banking roles and began his corporate finance experience as a Risk Analyst Intern at Sempra Energy. Peter earned his B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University.

Peter’s favorite hobbies include attending car meets throughout San Diego and Los Angeles and catching a Padres game whenever he can score free tickets from friends.
