Nancy Vo Hamada

Nancy oversees the Operational and Client Service teams that play a key role in enhancing the CoastEdge client experience.

As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Nancy oversees firm operations, client service, portfolio analysis & reporting, and technology, and compliance at CoastEdge. She focuses on building scalable processes and an efficient technology platform that allow the team to better serve clients. She is also passionate about developing people and enjoys coaching team members as they develop personally and professionally.

Nancy decided to join CoastEdge Partners to reunite with her previous mentor, Steve Simpson after having known Steve for over a decade working at several different firms together. She was excited about joining CoastEdge Partners during a pivotal growth phase.

Prior to joining CoastEdge Partners, Nancy was a Senior Client Engagement & Success Manager at Addepar, a leading global technology and data company that serves family offices, registered investment advisory firms, and enterprise financial institutions totaling over $9 trillion assets on platform. Nancy also recently worked at PIMCO where she was a Senior Vice President overseeing SMA Operations. Prior to PIMCO, Nancy spent over a decade at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management where she was a partner and responsible for the firm’s white glove Client Service and Operations teams. Nancy started her career in the financial services industry as a Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from University of California, San Diego and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University where she focused on Management & Strategy as well as Management & Organizations.

Nancy calls San Diego home. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and baseball with her husband and three sons.
