Caroline supports accounting and administration of CoastEdge funds, working closely with third-party administrators and overseeing investor activity, financial reporting, and fund cash flows.

‍

She also plays an important role in the firm’s quarterly client billing cycle, reviewing invoices for accuracy and driving internal process improvements to ensure clients receive their quarterly invoices and reports in a timely and seamless manner.

Caroline finds fulfillment in identifying opportunities to improve processes and takes particular pride in identifying opportunities to create efficiencies that may reduce costs for CoastEdge’s clients and investors.

Caroline graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in economics. Before joining CoastEdge, she was a member of the onboarding team at a third-party fund administrator based in Carlsbad, where she helped launch more than 70 funds. Her responsibilities included facilitating daily operations for private equity and hedge funds of various sizes across all stages of the fund lifecycle.

Caroline joined CoastEdge in 2022, drawn to the opportunity to work at across the firm’s advisory and private fund businesses. She was particularly interested in fund-of-funds accounting and the opportunity to gain insight into both sides of the investment relationship: each CoastEdge fund invests in underlying funds while also serving as a fiduciary to its own investors.

Caroline also served as Treasurer of Women in Business San Diego from 2022 to 2024.

Outside of work, Caroline enjoys trivia nights, mixed-media art projects, and being sworn in as a Junior Ranger at as many U.S. national parks as possible (currently a four-time Junior Ranger).
